description: This research is motivated by the challenges of da'wah (Islamic proselytizing) in  the modern era, which require an integrative approach between Islamic teachings  and the development of science and philosophy. Fahruddin Faiz has emerged as a  preacher capable of bridging the gap between Islamic thought and Western  philosophy—which are often considered contradictory—through his lectures at the  Jendral Sudirman Mosque, Colombo. This study aims to describe Fahruddin Faiz's  da'wah communication strategies in integrating Western philosophy and Islam for  his congregation.  The research method employed is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research  type. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and  documentation. Data analysis utilized the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response)  theory to examine how the da'wah messages are received and responded to by the  congregation.  The results of the study indicate that Fahruddin Faiz's da'wah communication  possesses several characteristics: (1) It is dialogic, inclusive, and interpersonal,  creating a space for active discussion with the congregation; (2) It uses a dialectical  approach to form a synthesis between Western philosophy (rationality) and Islam  (revelation), resulting in a constructive new understanding; (3) It utilizes digital  media through the "Ngaji Filsafat" YouTube channel to reach a wider audience; (4)  It conveys messages relevant to contemporary mental health issues such as selflove,  overthinking, and mindfulness, which are then linked to Quranic verses and  Hadiths. The congregation's response shows a change in attitude and a mindset that  is more rational, calm, and religious after attending the studies.
