"This research is motivated by the challenges of da'wah (Islamic proselytizing) in\r\nthe modern era, which require an integrative approach between Islamic teachings\r\nand the development of science and philosophy. Fahruddin Faiz has emerged as a\r\npreacher capable of bridging the gap between Islamic thought and Western\r\nphilosophy—which are often considered contradictory—through his lectures at the\r\nJendral Sudirman Mosque, Colombo. This study aims to describe Fahruddin Faiz's\r\nda'wah communication strategies in integrating Western philosophy and Islam for\r\nhis congregation.\r\nThe research method employed is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research\r\ntype. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and\r\ndocumentation. Data analysis utilized the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response)\r\ntheory to examine how the da'wah messages are received and responded to by the\r\ncongregation.\r\nThe results of the study indicate that Fahruddin Faiz's da'wah communication\r\npossesses several characteristics: (1) It is dialogic, inclusive, and interpersonal,\r\ncreating a space for active discussion with the congregation; (2) It uses a dialectical\r\napproach to form a synthesis between Western philosophy (rationality) and Islam\r\n(revelation), resulting in a constructive new understanding; (3) It utilizes digital\r\nmedia through the \"Ngaji Filsafat\" YouTube channel to reach a wider audience; (4)\r\nIt conveys messages relevant to contemporary mental health issues such as selflove,\r\noverthinking, and mindfulness, which are then linked to Quranic verses and\r\nHadiths.
