description: The topic of food has emerged as a pivotal concern in addressing global challenges,  including economic disparities, armed conflicts, and the overreach of state  institutions. From a sociology-literary perspective, literary works can be regarded  as a reflection of the socio-cultural context within which they are produced. The  objective of this study is to gain insight into Taufīq al-Ḥakīm's perspectives on food  as depicted in his play, al-Ṭa'ām li Kulli Fam. This research employs a qualitative  descriptive methodology and is analyzed using Lucien Goldmann's genetic  structuralism theory. The issues addressed encompass human facts, worldview,  collective subjectivity, and Taufīq al-Ḥakīm's intellectual background. An analysis  of the structure of the work facilitates the discovery of humanitarian facts,  worldviews, and collective subjects in the play. A structural analysis of the play  revealed five intrinsic elements (theme, setting, character, plot, and mandate) and  the social opposition relation of the hero with his environment and the hero with  other characters. The relationship between Ṭāriq and Nādiyah's views, as well as  the condition of Ṭāriq's family and environment, illustrate a social opposition. The  character opposition is evident between Ṭāriq and his mother and Nādiyah. Through  these oppositional relations, the structure of al-Ṭa'ām li Kulli Fam expresses the  author's socialist worldview, which is characterised by realist views and a focus on  food security. The author presents his views in an implicit manner through the  presentation of a solution to the problem.
