This research aims to develop a CTL-based learning module integrated with Islamic characters to improve conceptual understanding and ecological awareness in Earth materials class V. Research using the ADDIE model Research and Development method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The validation results showed that the module was in the valid category with a score of 99% (very valid category), 75% linguists (valid category), and 72.5% media experts (valid category). The practicality test by practitioners obtained 98.4% (very practical category) while the field trial by peer reviewer was 99.1% (feasible category) and the response of students was 87.31% (very interesting category). The results of the effectiveness test in the experimental class showed an increase in conceptual understanding with an N-gain of 0.90 (very high category) and an increase in ecological awareness with an N-gain of 0.4 (medium category). Meanwhile, in the control class, the increase in conceptual understanding only reached N-gain of 0.49 (medium category), and the increase in ecological awareness was at N-gain of 0.27 (low category).
