Efforts to raise awareness of the importance of caring for the environment can be carried out in educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools. Ecological education in Islamic boarding schools is commonly known as ecopesantren. Annuqayah Lubangsa Islamic Boarding School is one of the boarding schools that implements various programs that incorporate ecological values. Under the leadership of the caretaker, the ecological program at the boarding school has shown significant progress. This study aims to: 1) analyze the management of ecopesantren at PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa; 2) analyze transformational leadership in influencing the management of ecopesantren at PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa; 3) analyze the impact of transformational leadership in the management of ecopesantren at PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa. This study is field research using a qualitative approach. The data in this study are classified into primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Data validity was tested using triangulation of techniques and sources. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this study was the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which included data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: 1) the management of the ecopesantren at PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa is carried out systematically through gradual planning, organization involving all elements of the boarding school, implementation of 3M activities (organizing, minimizing, and avoiding), avoidance of single-use plastics, waste management, and dissemination and ecological networking, as well as supervision carried out directly by the caretaker; 2) The caretaker of PP. Annuqayah Lubangsa position himself as a role model in implementing environmental sustainability principles at the Islamic boarding school, demonstrate integrity in ecological issues, convey a clear and inspiring environmental vision, provide direction, encourage administrators to participate in developing strategic steps, and empower administrators; 3) The transformational leadership of caregivers has had a significant impact, as seen in the formation of ecological awareness, the realization of independent waste management, the pesantren as a center for environmental learning, a reduction in the amount of waste, and circular economic independence.
