%T PRESERVASI PENGETAHUAN DALAM PELESTARIAN BUDAYA DI KOMUNITAS PANDHALUNGAN JEMBER
%X This study aims to analyze the forms, strategies, and processes of preserving Pandhalungan cultural knowledge carried out by the Pandhalungan Community of Jember as the research subject, with Pandhalungan cultural knowledge as the research object. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method and applies the Nonaka–Takeuchi SECI Model as the analytical framework. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with community administrators and members, participatory observation of cultural activities, and documentation studies, which were then analyzed thematically.
The results of the study show that the forms of cultural knowledge preservation include socio-cultural practices, traditional arts, Pandhalungan language and literature, as well as cultural products documented in the form of writings, photographs, videos, and digital archives. Preservation strategies are carried out through community-based socio-cultural activities, documentation and management of cultural archives, as well as digitization and dissemination of knowledge through social media and cultural publications. The process of knowledge preservation takes place dynamically through the stages of the SECI Model, namely socialization through intergenerational interaction, externalization through documentation and writing, combination through the merging and management of cultural archives, and internalization through learning and cultural practices by the younger generation.
This study confirms that community-based preservation of Pandhalungan cultural knowledge is not only oriented towards preserving art forms, but also towards the sustainability of the values, meanings, and social identity of the community. These findings show that a community-based preservation approach in line with the SECI Model is capable of maintaining the sustainability of cultural knowledge in a participatory and sustainable manner amid social change.
