The study is grounded in the evolving function of archives, which are no longer limited to administrative records but have developed into social and cultural media capable of representing history and collective identity. Diorama Arsip Jogja presents local historical archives through visual approaches and interactive technologies, there by fostering shared historical experiences among visitors. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with five informants, and documentation, with data validity ensured through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, narrative data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that: (1) Diorama Arsip Jogja realizes interactivity through three main dimensions physical, intellectual, and emotional participation of visitors. This interactivity enables visitors not only to receive historical information passively but also to actively engage in understanding, interpreting, and experiencing the historical narratives of Yogyakarta; (2)Tthe implementation of the collective memory concept is manifested through shared visitor experiences, archival symbolism, periodized historical narratives, and visual representations that strengthen collective memory and local identity. Diorama Arsip Jogja functions as a social space that reconstructs cultural memory through contextual and participatory archival visualization; and (3) despite these strengths, several challenges remain, including limitations in human resources and the need for sustainable development of interactive content. Therefore, this study affirms that Diorama Arsip Jogja plays a significant role as an interactive medium in building collective memory within society. Future research is recommended to examine the symbols presented in the diorama from a historiographical perspective. %Z Dr. Sri Rohyanti Zulaikha, S.Ag., SS., M.Si.
