Mothers, as primary caregivers, have an important responsibility in their children's digital media experiences. Furthermore, considering the context of farmer mothers in Wangunsari Village, who often have low digital literacy, there is a need for adjustments related to self-regulation in the digital era, namely the ability to control thoughts, feelings, behaviour, actions, and spiritual values in facing the challenges of parenting in the digital era. Not infrequently, the digital era raises various concerns about child-rearing that disturb the thoughts and feelings of farmer mothers. This study aims to describe the self-regulation skills of farmer mothers in facing the challenges of Islamic-based parenting in the digital age. It then analyses the self-regulation strategies of farmer mothers in Wangunsari Village in facing the challenges of Islamic-based parenting in the digital age. The research method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included semi-structured interviews and observation. Data collection took place between September and November. The research was then analysed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study show that the self-regulation skills of farmer mothers are illustrated in limiting screen time, choosing to remain silent or let things be, giving appreciation in the form of rewards, the effectiveness of Maghrib time in instilling religious habits, and the reciprocity between mothers and fathers in parenting. The self-regulation strategies of farmer mothers are several ways that support the realisation of their self-regulation skills. These self-regulation strategies include farming activities that are interpreted as enjoyable activities, which can increase productivity, as well as efforts to divert emotions in parenting and in facing the dynamics of life. Other aspects, such as resting, talking to older children, establishing good communication with children, and reminding them repeatedly, are ways that farmer mothers use as a self-regulation strategy in facing the challenges of parenting in the digital age. The strategies towards self-regulation skills in mothering based on this study are also influenced by the extent to which mothers respond to stimuli in the form of challenges in the digital age that are intertwined with Islamic-based parenting challenges. These responses are always intertwined with mood and self-acceptance.} }
