The research focuses on how female characters are portrayed in the narrative, their roles, and the gender relations depicted in the film. This study employs Roland Barthes? semiotic analysis method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through visual observation of scenes, dialogues, and symbols representing women, and then analyzed using Simone de Beauvoir?s The Second Sex concept. The findings indicate that the representation of women in the film largely remains within the framework of traditional gender constructions, positioning women as supporters of male characters, although there are also portrayals of empowered women who play strategic roles. This research is expected to contribute to the fields of communication studies, film studies, and gender perspectives, and serve as a reference for future related studies.} }
