However, students often procrastinate on sleep because they engage in various non-urgent activities before bedtime. This study aims to determine the relationship between short video addiction and self-control on sleep procrastination among students. The research method used is quantitative correlational. The research sample consisted of 295 undergraduate students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta who actively use short video features. The measurement tools used included the Bedtime Procrastination Scale (BPS) to measure the level of sleep procrastination, the Short Video Addiction Scale (SVAS) to measure the level of short video addiction, and the Self Control Scale (SCS) to measure the level of self-control. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of Jamovi software version 2.6.26. The results show that the major hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship between short video addiction and self-control with sleep procrastination of 62.2%. In addition, the minor hypothesis results can also be accepted, where short video addiction is positively related to sleep procrastination and self-control is negatively related to sleep procrastination, with each variable having a significance value of p<0.001. Self-control has a greater contribution to sleep procrastination than short video addiction. This study is expected to contribute to providing information to students about the importance of developing wise behavior when using social media, especially the short video feature, and improving their self-control abilities to improve sleep time. %Z Sabiqotul Husna, S.Psi., M.Sc.
