N2  - This study investigates the phenomenon of interfaith interaction in a socio-ecological- based da'wah movement initiated by GreenFaith Indonesia in Yogyakarta. The global environmental crisis requires a holistic method that involves various elements of society, including interfaith communities. GreenFaith Indonesia emerged as an institution that integrates spiritual values with concrete actions in environmental conservation through an interfaith communication model.
The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with GreenFaith Indonesia administrators and activists, participant observation of organizational activities, focus group discussions with representatives of interfaith communities, and analysis of program documents and organizational publications. Data analysis used interactive analysis techniques to identify communication patterns and da'wah strategies applied.
The results of the study show that GreenFaith Indonesia has succeeded in developing an effective interfaith communication model through several main strategies: first, the use of universal language about environmental concerns that can be accepted by all religious groups; second, organizing collaborative activities such as joint tree planting, waste reduction campaigns, and environmental seminars involving religious figures from various communities; third, the use of digital platforms to expand the reach of communication and build a wider interfaith network.
This study concludes that interfaith communication in the context of socio-ecological da'wah has great potential to build solidarity and collective action in facing the environmental crisis. The communication model developed by GreenFaith Indonesia can be a reference for similar organizations in developing inclusive da'wah strategies based on the common interests of humanity.
