A quantitative approach was employed using secondary data sourced from the annual reports of 11 Islamic banks operating in Indonesia from 2021 to 2023. The data were processed using SPSS 25 through multiple linear regression analysis. The RGEC indicators in this study include Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Return on Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Net Interest Margin (NIM). The results reveal that NPF has a positive but insignificant effect on MSI. FDR, ROA, and CAR also show no significant influence on MSI. However, NIM has a significant negative effect on MSI. These findings suggest that during economic instability, interest-based income efficiency may not align with the achievement of maqashid syariah, which emphasizes social justice and public welfare.} }
