The analysis method used is panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model approach. The results show that energy consumption has a positive and significant effect on CO? emissions, while renewable energy has a negative and significant effect. Meanwhile, GDP per capita and trade openness have a positive but insignificant effect on CO? emissions, thus requiring energy transition policies to support sustainable development.
