description: This study aims to analyze the effects of foreign investment, trade openness, inflation, and unemployment on economic growth in member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) during the period 2007-2023. The study employs panel data from several OIC member countries. The analytical method applied is the Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (Panel ARDL) approach using the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator, which allows for heterogeneity in short-run dynamics across countries while assuming homogeneous long-run relationships. The selection of the PMG model is based on the Hausman test, which indicates that the PMG estimator is more appropriate than the Dynamic Fixed Effect (DFE) model.  The estimation results indicate that in the long run foreign investment has a negative and significant effect on economic growth, suggesting that foreign capital inflows in OIC countries have not been fully productive. Trade openness also exhibits a negative and significant long-run effect, reflecting high import dependence and weak domestic trade structures. Meanwhile, inflation has a positive and significant long-run impact, indicating that inflation at a certain level may reflect relatively stable economic activity. Unemployment has a negative but insignificant effect in the long run, whereas in the short run unemployment has a negative and significant impact on economic growth.
