This research aims to design and develop a Visual Studio Code extension named "NextJS API Inspector" to automate documentation, testing simulation, and early security analysis (Shift-Left Testing) utilizing the Google Gemini artificial intelligence assistant. The study applied the Design and Development (D&D) methodology, with feasibility testing based on the ISO/IEC 25010:2023 quality model, SonarQube static analysis, and a System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation involving 30 respondents. The testing results demonstrated that the extension successfully met 9 main characteristics of ISO 25010 with a 100% functional and compatibility success rate, a 100/100 performance efficiency score, and achieved a Rating A (0 bugs, 0 vulnerabilities) in reliability, security, and maintainability aspects. The user acceptance evaluation yielded an SUS score of 78.75, falling into the Good/Acceptable category. In conclusion, this extension is proven to be functional, secure, and significantly enhances developer workflow efficiency by reducing the cognitive load caused by application switching.
