"This research was motivated by the low understanding of science concepts and\r\ncollaboration skills of students. Based on this problem, the researcher conducted a\r\nstudy to determine whether the Talking Stick cooperative learning model assisted by\r\nMisbox is effective on students' understanding of science concepts and collaboration\r\nskills.\r\nThis study aims to determine: (1) The effectiveness of the Talking Stick\r\ncooperative learning model assisted by Misbox media on the understanding of science\r\nconcepts of third-grade students at Jarakan Public Elementary School. (2) The\r\neffectiveness of the Talking Stick cooperative learning model assisted by Misbox media\r\non the collaboration skills of third-grade students at Jarakan Public Elementary\r\nSchool. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control\r\nGroup Design, involving one experimental class receiving the Talking Stick model with\r\nthe assistance of Misbox and one control class using conventional learning. Data were\r\ncollected through conceptual understanding tests (pretest and posttest) and\r\ncollaborative ability observation sheets. Data analysis included prerequisite tests\r\n(normality and homogeneity), hypothesis testing using an Independent Sample t-test,\r\nand N-Gain analysis.\r\nThe results of the normality and homogeneity tests indicated that all pretest and\r\nposttest data for both variables were normal and homogeneous, thus meeting the\r\nrequirements for parametric statistical testing. The Independent Samples t-test results\r\nshowed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) for conceptual understanding and\r\ncollaborative ability, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and\r\ncontrol classes. The average scores for conceptual understanding and collaborative\r\nability of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class\r\nafter the treatment. The N-Gain analysis for conceptual understanding showed an\r\naverage of 0.8184 (high category), while collaboration ability averaged 0.8769 (high\r\ncategory). These findings indicate that the Misbox-assisted Talking Stick model can\r\nprovide significant and effective improvements in both research variables. Therefore,\r\nit can be concluded that the Misbox-assisted Talking Stick cooperative learning model\r\nis effective in improving students' understanding of science concepts and collaboration\r\nskills."^^ .
