"This study originates from the implementation of the core–plasma partnership model\r\nin the broiler farming sector in Kulon Progo Regency, which involves plasma farmers,\r\nincluding cooperation with PT X and PT Mitra Unggas Makmur. This partnership reflects a\r\nmutually dependent business relationship in which the company provides production\r\nfacilities, while the farmers are responsible for livestock management. However, in its\r\nimplementation, several potential legal imbalances between the parties can still be found. In\r\naddition, there is no specific regulation governing legal protection for plasma farmers, which\r\nraises the need to examine the partnership through the perspective of the principles of\r\ncontract law.\r\nThis research aims to provide an overview of how the partnership between plasma\r\nfarmers and PT X and PT Mitra Unggas Makmur is carried out in practice. It also examines\r\nthe extent to which the implementation of the partnership reflects the principles of contract\r\nlaw as stipulated in the Indonesian Civil Code. The study employs an empirical juridical\r\napproach by collecting data through field interviews and reviewing documents, legal\r\nliterature, and applicable regulations. Through this approach, the research seeks to present\r\na comprehensive depiction of the partnership both theoretically and in practical\r\nimplementation.\r\nThe results show that the partnership is carried out based on mutual agreement;\r\nhowever, there remain imbalances in the fulfillment of rights and obligations, as well as a\r\nlack of involvement from the local government in conducting supervision. Such conditions\r\ncreate legal uncertainty for plasma farmers, who tend to hold a weaker bargaining position.\r\nThese findings indicate the importance of improving regulations, enhancing supervision, and\r\nstrengthening justice and legal protection principles so that the partnership can operate\r\nmore ideally and sustainably for all parties involved."^^ .
