Substantively, this character resembles gambling because the results are uncertain and depend on luck. The Wish system in Genshin Impact has specific mechanisms such as the Pity system and the 50/50 system, which distinguish it from typical gacha systems and directly impact the assessment of gambling elements, potentially leading to different legal conclusions. This research is urgent given the alarming addictive effects of gacha systems that encourage consumptive behavior. This research is a descriptive-analytical-comparative literature study with a legal-normative approach. The primary sources consist of Genshin Impact's Official Announcements and Policies, as well as legal reviews from Islamic law and positive law research. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques, then analyzed qualitatively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and verification. This study uses the theories of Qiyās and Legal Interpretation to formulate its legal status. The results show that the Wish system in the Genshin Impact game is permissible under Islamic law because it is more appropriately qiyās to ju‘ālah and prohibited if players use Primogems obtained through Top Up under positive law because, through analogical interpretation, it has the same ratio legis as gambling. Comparatively, both legal systems use analogical reasoning and recognize the elements of gambling and uncertainty of results, but differ in their legal conclusions.
