"This study aims to analyze the principal's policy in improving\r\nteacher performance quality at SDIT Salsabila Al Muthi'in Banguntapan\r\nBantul. The background of this study indicates that efforts to improve\r\nteacher performance are not optimal, particularly in aspects of discipline,\r\nunderstanding the independent curriculum, and learning evaluation. This\r\nstudy used a qualitative approach using interviews, observation, and\r\ndocumentation techniques. The research subjects included the principal,\r\nthe vice principal for student affairs and curriculum, and teachers.\r\nThe results indicate that: first, policy formulation is carried out\r\nthrough identification of actual problems and is determined collaboratively\r\nwith school leaders, senior teachers, program coordinators, and the\r\nfoundation. Second, policy implementation is carried out through setting\r\nannual targets, developing functional plans, and integrating policies into\r\nschool work programs, which include teacher discipline, mandatory\r\ncompetency development, and academic supervision. Third, policy\r\nimplications have a significant impact on improving performance,\r\nparticularly in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning.\r\nTeachers become more disciplined, have a better understanding of\r\nassessment techniques for learning processes and outcomes, are more\r\nreflective in improving learning, and experience improvements in\r\nprofessional, pedagogical, personal, and social competencies.\r\nFurthermore, the principal's policies strengthen coordination, a\r\ncollaborative work culture, and the school's academic climate. Thus, the\r\nprincipal's policies, systematically and collaboratively designed and\r\nimplemented, positively contribute to improving teacher performance and\r\nthe quality of education at SDIT Salsabila Al Muthi'in Banguntapan\r\nBantul."^^ .
