This condition arises from the simultaneous demands of professional responsibilities in the education sector and domestic obligations within the family. In Setrohadi Village, Duduksampeyan District, Gresik Regency, female teachers face challenges in balancing public and domestic roles, particularly in child caregiving. Differences in the level of husbands? involvement significantly influence how female teachers experience their dual roles, raising questions about how these roles are practiced and whether they develop into a double burden. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive nature. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight married female teachers who have children. Data analysis was conducted thematically using the Mubadalah theory as the main analytical framework. Mubadalah emphasizes reciprocity, equality, and relational justice between men and women, as reflected in Qur?an Surah At-Taubah (9): 71, which states that believing men and women are mutual partners (auliya?) in fulfilling life responsibilities. The findings reveal that the dual roles of female teachers in Setrohadi Village can be categorized into two forms: dual roles with relatively optimal husband involvement and dual roles with minimal husband involvement. Female teachers who receive active support from their husbands tend to manage their dual roles more effectively, preventing them from turning into a double burden. Conversely, limited husband involvement increases the likelihood that dual roles develop into a double burden, resulting in physical fatigue and psychological stress. Therefore, the implementation of Mubadalah principles within the family plays a crucial role in fostering balanced roles and promoting family well-being.
