"This study is motivated by adolescence and its various developmental tasks.\r\nAccording to Adams and Gullota, adolescence is defined as the period between the\r\nages of 11 and 20. It is expected that adolescents will achieve these developmental\r\ntasks and optimize their full potential. Full potential can be seen in adolescents'\r\nattitudes, such as being open to experiences with the aim of strengthening self-control,\r\nbelieving in themselves, and being emotionally independent. A positive peer\r\nenvironment can support adolescents in the process of growing and developing well\r\nin accordance with responsible norms. The purpose of this study was to determine the\r\nrelationship between self-control and self-adjustment among students at Diponegoro\r\nVocational School in Yogyakarta. The research method used was quantitative with a\r\ncorrelational method to determine the relationship between the two variables. The\r\nsampling technique used was incidental sampling. This technique was carried out by\r\ntaking random samples. A total of 152 students were sampled from a population of 286\r\nstudents. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires with the help of Google\r\nForms. The analysis technique used was Pearson's product moment correlation using JSAP\r\nand SPSS software. The Pearson correlation value between self-adjustment and self-control\r\nwas 0.736, which is positive. This figure is greater than 0.00, which means that there is a\r\nsignificant relationship between self-adjustment and self-control, whereby the greater the\r\nstudents' self-control, the greater their self-adjustment, and vice versa."^^ .
