The cashless-only phenomenon has emerged as a growing trend in various economic sectors, creating a paradox of legal complexity because it contradicts Law No. 7 of 2011 concerning Currency, the Consumer Protection Law, and PBI No. 17 of 2015 concerning the Obligation to Use the Rupiah. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how positive law in Indonesia and contemporary maq{\=a}{\d s}id asy-syar{\=i}?ah address the consumer protection issues caused by these practices. This study uses a qualitative method with a juridical-normative approach and uses a legislative approach with consumer protection theory and Jasser Auda's maq{\=a}{\d s}id asy-syar{\=i}?ah theory (systems approach). This study will analyze the form of consumer protection in Indonesia in positive law against the refusal of cash payments by business actors in the era of payment digitalization and the relevance of Jasser Auda's Systems Approach Maq{\=a}{\d s}id asy-Syar{\=i}?ahi formulating consumer protection against cashless-only practices by business actors. The results of the study show that consumer protection in dealing with cashless-only practices in Indonesia is not yet optimal, due to the weak enforcement of sanctions for violations of the Currency Law and the absence of explicit norms in the CPL regarding the right to choose a payment method. Jasser Auda's Systems Approach Maq{\=a}{\d s}id asy-Syar{\=i}?Ah is considered relevant for formulating a more inclusive and adaptive consumer protection policy model because it is able to view issues comprehensively and respond to the dynamics of economic digitalization.} }
