"The topic was chosen due to the gap between the stereotype that santri are\r\ntechnologically inexperienced and the reality that pesantren have great potential\r\nto produce human resources who are competent in the digital field. This research\r\nanalyzes the digital identity of santri formed through digital skill development at\r\nthe Amumarta Community Training Center (BLKK). BLKK Amumarta was\r\nselected as the research site because it is recognized as one of the top-performing\r\nBLKKs at the national level and actively integrates digital training into the\r\npesantren environment. This study aims to examine how BLKK Amumarta\r\nconstructs santri digital identity through digital training, as well as how alumni\r\nidentity develops after completing the program.\r\nThis research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method,\r\nconducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and\r\ndocumentation. The theoretical foundation used is Marshall McLuhan’s Media\r\nEcology Theory, which views media and technology as environments capable of\r\nshaping how individuals think, interact, and construct identity. The findings\r\nreveal that BLKK Amumarta is not merely a place for transferring technical\r\nskills, but also serves as a new medium that transforms santri ways of thinking\r\nand patterns of communication. The identity of santri undergoes transformation\r\nthrough four key processes: (1) enhancement of digital competence, (2) reduction\r\nof the stereotype that santri are technologically inept (obsolescence), (3) retrieval\r\nof Islamic values in digital expression, and (4) the emergence of ethical\r\nchallenges and potential dependence on digital media (reversal). Overall, the\r\nstudy indicates that digital training at BLKK Amumarta successfully shapes a\r\ndigital identity that is more adaptive, professional, religious, and relevant to the\r\ndemands of the digital era."^^ .
