Previous studies have\r\nfocused more on text analysis and discourse framing, without in-depth examination\r\nof the visual aspects. This study aims to analyze and understand how queer Muslim\r\nwomen are represented in editorial illustrations in the online magazine\r\nMagdalene.co. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Charles\r\nSanders Peirce's semiotic analysis method linked to Stuart Hall's theory of\r\nrepresentation. The research objects are three Magdalene.co editorial illustrations\r\nthat display Muslim women's identities in relation to queer symbols. The results\r\nshow that Magdalene.co represents queer Muslim women through editorial\r\nillustrations in an inclusive, symbolic, and negotiative manner. This study\r\nconcludes that Magdalene.co's editorial illustrations function not merely as\r\ncomplements to text but as arenas for the production of meaning that affirm the\r\nagency, faith, and diversity of queer Muslim women's identities in the Indonesian\r\npublic sphere. This research is expected to enrich studies of visual communication,\r\nmedia studies, and progressive Islam studies related to the representation of\r\nmarginalized groups in digital media."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
