This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Islamic-based caregiving guidance in reducing hospitalization stress among pediatric patients at RSIY PDHI Yogyakarta. This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pre-test?post-test design, involving caregivers of pediatric patients selected through an accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used was a child hospitalization stress scale adapted from Jannah, utilizing a four-point Likert scale, while data analysis was conducted using the Fisher Exact test to determine differences in stress levels before and after the intervention. The results indicated a decrease in children?s hospitalization stress levels after receiving Islamic-based caregiving guidance, with statistical analysis showing a based-on-mean value of 0.542 > 0.05. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Islamic-based caregiving guidance is effective in reducing hospitalization stress in pediatric patients at RSIY PDHI Yogyakarta and can serve as an alternative non-medical intervention in Islamic-based hospitals.
