"The Transformation of the Zawiyah Into Digital Spaces The Role of the Idrisiyah Order of Tasikmalaya in Peacebuilding in Indonesia"^^ . "This study aims to reveal the role of the Idrisiyah Order of Tasikmalaya, one of\r\nthe leading Sufi orders in Indonesia. This order has developed from the zawiyah\r\ntradition as a centre for spiritual and social cultivation, emphasising the values\r\nof mahabbah (compassion), tasamuh (tolerance), and ukhuwah insaniyah (human\r\nfraternity). In the contemporary era, the order has adopted social media platforms\r\nfor religious outreach, spiritual guidance, and the promotion of moderate religious\r\nliteracy. Through a historical and sociological analysis, this study finds that the\r\norder’s digitalisation expands its spiritual networks, disseminates peace-oriented\r\nmessages, and helps counter religious hoaxes and hate speech. Nonetheless, this\r\nprocess encounters challenges, including limited digital literacy, cultural resistance, and tensions between traditional spiritual authority and emerging digital authority.\r\nThis study argues that the Idrisiyah model offers for embedding Sufi ethical principles within an inclusive and promoting peaceful digital citizenship in Indonesia."^^ .
