Being a single parent, especially with a single parent, is a challenging condition, a single parent is required to carry out a dual role, namely taking over responsibilities that were previously shared. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of 4 single parents Data analysis. The results of this study indicate that: first, single parent mothers carry out dual roles as breadwinners, managing the household while fulfilling the role of childcare. Second, single parent care applies a democratic parenting style that emphasizes affection, discipline, and open communication. Third, challenges faced by single parents include economic limitations, time, physical and emotional exhaustion, and social stigma.
