"This study aims to describe the application of drumband activities and their\r\nrole in supporting the regulatio2n of early childhood emotions in Kindergarten Al\r\nSleman, Yogyakarta. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon\r\nof early childhood who still experience difficulties in managing emotions, such as\r\nirritability, difficulty waiting for their turn, and being unable to adjust to the rules\r\nin the classroom. At Kindergarten Al Sleman, drumband activities have become an\r\nextracurricular program that is carried out regularly and in a structured manner. This\r\nactivity involves elements of rhythm, rules, group work, which in practice provides\r\ndirect experience for children in managing emotions during the activity.\r\nThis study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection\r\ntechniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation\r\nwith research subjects including the principal. the teacher in charge, two drumband\r\ncoaches, and two guardians. Data analysis was carried out using Coding Strauss and\r\nCorbin which covers the Open coding, axial coding, and selective coding.\r\nThe results of the study showed that drumband activities were carried out in\r\na structured manner through various roles, routine exercises, and the application of\r\nconsistent rules and rhythms. In the process, children learn to control impulses,\r\nadjust their emotions to tempo and cues, wait for their turns, and cooperate with\r\npeers. Thus, drumband activities act as a learning contest that supports the process\r\nof early childhood emotional regulation at Kindergarten Al Sleman, Yogyakarta."^^ . "2025-10-21" . . . .
