Untuk mencapai kemampuan tersebut, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang mampu mengintegrasikan pemahaman tekstual dan kontekstual secara seimbang. Di Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Ummah Putri, metode sorogan dan musyawarah diterapkan sebagai strategi utama dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning.&#13;
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara induktif melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.&#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode sorogan berimplikasi pada peningkatan kemampuan membaca kitab, pemahaman nahwu–sharaf, dan ketepatan i‘rab, sedangkan metode musyawarah berimplikasi pada penguatan pemahaman kosakata, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta pemahaman kontekstual santri.
