Social diversity requires students to possess adequate multicultural understanding and academic digital literacy in order to develop inclusive and critical social attitudes. However, in practice, some students still tend to build social interactions based on group similarities and use digital media more for entertainment rather than as a source of academic information. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the relationship and influence of multicultural understanding and academic digital literacy on the social awareness of students in the Islamic Education Management Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.&#13;

This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design conducted in the Islamic Education Management Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 220 students from a total population of 438 students. The sampling technique used was proportionate random sampling. The sample selection was conducted using Microsoft Excel with the RANDBETWEEN function based on the students' serial numbers. The variables in this study include multicultural understanding as variable X, academic digital literacy as variable Z, and students' social awareness as variable Y. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale (1 = strongly disagree to 4 = strongly agree). The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, cross-tabulation, bivariate correlation test, partial correlation test, and simple and multiple linear regressions with the assistance of SPSS version 26 (Statistical Product and Service Solutions).&#13;

The results show a strong relationship between multicultural understanding and students' social awareness (r = 0.721; p &lt; 0.05). This indicates that the higher the level of multicultural understanding, the higher the students' social awareness. However, when academic digital literacy was included as a mediating variable, the correlation decreased to 0.436, indicating that academic digital literacy strengthens the relationship between multicultural understanding and social awareness. Multiple linear regression analysis produced the regression equation Y = 0.151 + 0.417X + 0.526Z, indicating that academic digital literacy has a more dominant influence.
