However, not all of these principles serve as guidelines for some phenomena. One such example is what occurs in the Wora Village community. In this case, the Wora Village inheritance system uses a patrilineal inheritance system. This means that the primary heir is given only to sons. This is based on the greater responsibility of sons compared to daughters. This is controversial because nowadays, it's not only sons who play a role in providing for the family; daughters also contribute to meeting the family's economic needs. This research is a qualitative, descriptive-analytical study. Furthermore, the approach used is empirical. The data sources consist of primary data, namely interviews with traditional leaders, religious leaders, and the Village Head, as well as secondary data obtained from relevant literature. Data collection was conducted through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The theories used in this study include Siti Musdah Mulia's gender theory and Philipus M. Hadjon's legal protection theory. The research results show that the patrilineal inheritance system in the Mbojo tribe of Wora Village is still strongly and consistently practiced. Boys remain the primary heirs because they are considered the successors of the lineage and responsible for the family's economy. Meanwhile, girls generally do not receive formal inheritance, but only receive gifts or dowries as a form of economic security. The patrilineal inheritance system demonstrates the unequal roles and rights between men and women. Patriarchal traditions, legitimized by custom and religious interpretation, place women in a subordinate position. However, gender awareness is growing among the younger generation of Mbojo Muslims, who are beginning to question the fairness of this system. %Z Dr. Siti Muna Hayati, M.H.I.
