The absence of religious moderation values in PAUD/RA is likely to be the reason of exclusivity and religion-intolerance character. It indicates the urgency that the values should be introduced to children from the very young age to give them a foundation of a character of tolerance, inclusive, and respect. Social-organizationbased education institutions play a strategic role in integrating religious moderation values into everyday learning practice; and PAUD Al Washliyah and RA Aisyiyah of Medan have been successful in doing so. The objectives of this study are to analyse the implementation of the character education strategy of religious moderation for young children, to discover the impact of the character education, and to understand the construction of such education which is carried out by PAUD Al Washliyah and RA Aisyiyah of Medsan, on the field finding basis. This qualitative research applies a case study under constructive-critical paradigm approach. While the research subjects comprise the head masters, teachers and parents from both schools, the research object is the implementation of a character education on religious moderation under early childhood learning context. The theoretical frameworks are Five Ps Caleb Rosado (paradigm, policy, program, personnel, practice), theory of ecology from Bronfenbrenner (microsystem, meso-system, ecosystem, macro-system, chronosystem), and theory of character education. Collected through interviews, observations, and document examination, data are being analysed under Miles and Huberman model, ffrom data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing with verification. The data validity and credibility is ascertain through triangulation technic and source triangulation. The results show as follow. 1) The implementation of religious moderation in PAUD Al Washliyah and RA Aisyiyah of Medan shows a synergy among philosophical foundation, adaptable policy, and actual practice. The success lies on the ability to interpret macro concept (Tajdid-Aswaja paradigm, KMA No. 450/2024) into an actual micro practices of a teacher as a “living curriculum”, sentra imtaq, regular dhikr, and respect-the-difference habituation. A tripartite partnership with parents and persistent habituation like flag-raising ceremony and peaceful conflict mediation build a holistic ecosystem. The experience proves that religious moderation can be instilled from a very young age through exemplary and collaboration, to create a generation with unwavering faith, yet welcoming to differences. 2) An education on religious moderation character builds positive attitude and behaviour of the students of PAUD Al Washliyah and RA Aisyiyah of Medan. They share toys and food willingly, mediate conflicts independently, communicate calmly, address each other politely, queue consistently, and tidy up the classroom together. A moderate attitude toward religion is manifested in their habits, such as spontaneous dhikr words, absence from mocking the no-pray yet, and respect-minded over different faiths with no negative suspicion. Appreciation of the diversity is also seen through language and costume admiration and play-together invitation to the isolated with no discrimination. Positive character is built through forgiving attitude and spontaneous thank you-please-sorry expressions, the performance of a successful building a character of moderate, tolerant, and good deed. 3) The construction of character education of religious moderation in PAUD Al Washliyah and RA Asyiyah of Medan results in 2P holistic models (psychology and digital platform) which are the transformation approach from 5P Rosado into psyco-sociotechnological moderate-character formation. %K Pendidikan, Karakter Moderasi Beragama, Anak Usia Dini %D 2026 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib75863
