The Jaksa Masuk Sekolah Program was initiated by the Attorney General’s Office based on Article 30 paragraph (3) letter (a), which stipulates that in the field of public order and peace, the prosecution service participates in activities aimed at enhancing public legal awareness. In this context, students are specifically targeted through the Jaksa Masuk Sekolah Program. The District Attorney’s Office of Bantul has implemented the program by delivering various legal topics, including narcotics, with narcotics being the most frequently addressed theme compared to the District Attorney’s Offices of Sleman, Yogyakarta, Kulon Progo, and Gunung Kidul. Based on data from the Bantul Police Resort, from 2020 to 2024 there has been an increase in narcotics abuse cases among adolescents. This condition is concerning, considering that today’s younger generation will eventually assume leadership roles in governing the country in the future. The research method employed in this study is an empirical juridical approach with a descriptive-analytical nature to depict the actual legal conditions in practice. Primary data were collected through interviews with the District Attorney’s Office of Bantul, while secondary data were obtained through documentation studies and literature review. The theory of crime prevention proposed by Barda Nawawi Arief was used as the analytical framework. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Jaksa Masuk Sekolah Program by the District Attorney’s Office of Bantul is in accordance with the Decree of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia Number KEP- 184/A/JA/11/2015 concerning the Establishment of the Jaksa Masuk Sekolah Team. The District Attorney’s Office of Bantul has additionally incorporated an evaluation stage to ensure that any obstacles encountered can serve as lessons learned for future implementation. The penal approach has been established by the government through Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and Law Number 1 of 2026 concerning the Adjustment of Criminal Sanctions. Through the non-penal approach, the District Attorney’s Office of Bantul actively contributes to the prevention of narcotics-related crimes in Bantul Regency. %Z Farrah Syamala Rosyda, M.H.
