However, in practice, legal issues arise when civil claims based on unlawful acts are filed after the liquidation has been formally declared completed, as reflected in Decision Number 190/Pdt.G/2017/PN.Yyk concerning PT BPR Tripilar Arthajaya. This situation raises fundamental questions regarding the meaning of liquidation finality, the legal status of a bank after liquidation, and the legal reasoning adopted by judges in examining such claims. This research employs normative legal research using statutory and case approaches. The study is descriptive-analytical in nature and relies on primary legal materials in the form of legislation and court decisions, supported by secondary and tertiary legal materials. The theoretical framework consists of legal entity theory, liquidation theory, and the theory of unlawful acts to examine the legal construction of liquidation finality and post-liquidation liability The findings demonstrate that liquidation does not automatically extinguish all legal consequences arising prior to the completion of the liquidation process. Although the legal entity status of a bank formally terminates upon the official announcement of liquidation completion, liability for unlawful acts committed before such termination may still be pursued against responsible parties.
