Moral education that is delivered merely in a theoretical way often causes students to have difficulty understanding the practical application of honesty in their daily lives. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of using the Nussa animated video on improving the honesty values of fourth-grade students at MI Sa’adatuddarain East Jakarta and to measure its effectiveness as a medium for moral education.&#13;
This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model. The research subjects consisted of 34 fourth-grade students selected through total sampling. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 10 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability, resulting in a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.718. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing, paired sample t-test, and effectiveness testing using Normalized Gain (N-Gain) with the assistance of SPSS software.&#13;
The results showed a significant difference between students’ honesty scores before and after the implementation of the Nussa animated video, with a significance value of 0.000 (&lt; 0.05). The mean pretest score of 27.76 increased to 36.50 in the posttest. The N-Gain value of 0.7004 (70.04%) falls into the moderately effective category.
