In Yogyakarta, a city of students with high diversity, Muslim fashion not only functions as a religious symbol, but also as a social identity influenced by trends. This study aims to analyze the influence of social piety on the appearance of Muslim female students in Yogyakarta. This study uses the concept of social piety IKS 2022 and George Herbert Mead's symbolic interactionism theory. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the distribution of questionnaires and surveys to 359 Muslim female students from UIN SUKA, UII, UAD.&#13;
The results show that social piety is related to appearance based on a correlation coefficient of 0.620 with a positive direction.
