This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, focus group discussions (FGD), and documentation. The data were then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The informants in this study included mentors, student affairs staff, and guidance and counseling teachers as the main informants, while students served as supporting informants. The findings indicate that the implementation of ta’zir is carried out through a structured mechanism involving mentors, administrators, student affairs staff, and guidance and counseling teachers. The ta’zir given is not merely punitive, but also educational in nature, aiming to help students realize their mistakes, develop responsibility, and build disciplined character.
