Selain itu, banyak siswa yang tidak tepat waktu dalam mengumpulkan tugas. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together. Yang bertujuan agar behavioral engagement siswa meningkat dalam proses pembelajaran Matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh dari : 1) Data keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran NHT pada guru dan siswa dan 2) Data behavioral engagement siswa dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Hasil penelitian tindakan menunjukkan, rata-rata persentase keterlaksanaan NHT pada guru di siklus I yaitu 84%. Dan meningkat pada siklus II manjadi 88%. Dan persentase keterlaksanaan NHT pada siswa di siklus I yaitu 73% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 79%. Sedangkan, hasil penelitian tindakan pada behavioral engagement siswa juga meningkat.
