This study answers questions regarding: what were the social and religious conditions of the Kertosono community during the New Order; what were the forms of the socio-religious movement of the Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) in Kertosono in 1970-1990; and how did the socio-religious movement of the Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) influence the quality of life of the Kertosono community 1990-2024. In addition, this study also wants to see how the emergence and existence of LDII in Kertosono which is classified as the youngest Islamic organization compared to others. Until LDII is known as a renewal movement that is directly able to provide socio-religious influence and impact on the Kertosono community, Nganjuk. This study uses a sociological approach with the aim of observing the phenomenon of socio-religious movements carried out by LDII in Kertosono. To analyze the incident, the researcher uses Max Weber's analytical knife that socio-religious movements always refer to a human effort that can move the mind and resources to carry out the desired movements. This study uses a historical research method with four stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study are: first, LDII is the youngest organization in Kertosono that is able to become a socio-religious phenomenon in Kertosono. Second, LDII entered Kertosono in 1950, this movement was pioneered by Nur Hasan who tried to purify Islam by avoiding various local cultures. Third, the emergence of LDII in Kertosono with its various movements was able to influence and change the view of LDII in general which is known as exclusive to be more inclusive. In addition, the movement succeeded in improving the quality of socio-religious life by being realized in two things, namely increasing harmony between religious communities and increasing the quality of worship for the Kertosono community.} }
