This research entitled “Democratic Socialism in the Novel Lā Sakākīn Fī Maṭābikh Hāżihi al Madīnah by Khalid Khalifa (a Study of Lucien Goldman's Genetic Structuralism)” aims to reveal the novel's relationship with the author and the sociocultural system of his time, the author's worldview and the collective subject. This research is a library research with the method of reading and recording techniques as data collection. Data is also collected by data reduction, data selection, data display. The data analysis technique in this research uses the dialectical method, namely by understanding and explaining back and forth. The results showed that: 1) the relationship between the novel Lā Sakākīn Fī Maṭābikh Hāżihi al Madīnah and the author is homologous with the reality of the author's life and the sociocultural conditions of Syria at that time which explains the dictatorial and authoritarian regime by prioritising the interests of the ruling elite to maintain its power by suppressing state ownership to achieve its ideals and ignoring society. 2) Democratic Socialism emerges as the author's worldview that calls for shared social ownership and the freedom and participation of society for justice and shared prosperity. 3) Democratic Socialism is the author's worldview born from the part of the collective subject represented by the author, namely the Intellectual group that supports democracy and social activities.892.7309 Analisis - Kesusastraan Arab2025-01-23UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ADAB DAN ILMU BUDAYAThesis
