One of the unique morphological features is al-ṣifah al-musyabbahah, a category of adjectives that convey an inherent and stable meaning to their subjects. This study focuses on the fa‘īl pattern in al-ṣifah al-musyabbahah found in Surah Al-Baqarah. The primary objective is to identify words following this pattern, analyze their meanings in different Quranic contexts, and explore their linguistic implications in tafsir studies. This research employs a qualitative approach with morpho-semantic analysis. Data were collected from Surah Al-Baqarah, classified based on morphological structures, and analyzed using references from various classical and modern tafsir sources, such as Tafsīr al-Munīr, Tafsīr al-Baḥr al-Muḥīṭ, and Tafsīr Ibn Kaṡīr. The findings reveal that words with the fa‘īl pattern carry stable meanings and exhibit semantic shifts depending on their verse contexts. Some words take on metaphorical meanings, while others retain their literal interpretations. This study significantly contributes to Arabic linguistics, particularly in Qur’anic morphology and semantics. Additionally, the findings enhance the understanding of i‘jāz al-Qur’an from a linguistic perspective. The practical implications of this study extend to tafsir studies and Arabic language education, especially in understanding the use of adjectives within the syntactic structures of Classical Arabic.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">492.7 Arabic/Bahasa Arab</mods:classification><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8061">2025-02-25</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA;FAKULTAS ADAB DAN ILMU BUDAYA</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Thesis</mods:genre></mods:mods>
