"The Juz “Amma memorisation programme is a flagship programme at\r\nMadrasah Ibtidaiyah that requires professional management in order to achieve\r\noptimal memorisation targets. MI Al-Khoiriyah Melikan faces managerial\r\nproblems in the form of heterogeneity in students” memorisation abilities, limited\r\nlearning time allocation, and the need for synchronisation between programme\r\nplanning and implementation in the field. Without systematic strategic\r\nmanagement, the achievement of memorisation targets has the potential to be\r\nsuboptimal.\r\nThis study aims to analyse the strategic management of the madrasah principal\r\nin the Juz 'Amma memorisation programme at MI Al-Khoiriyah Melikan, Wonolelo,\r\nPleret, Bantul. The focus of the research includes the stages of strategy formulation,\r\nstrategic implementation, strategic evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting\r\nfactors in programme implementation. The results of this study are expected to\r\ncontribute theoretically to the development of Islamic education management,\r\nparticularly in the management of the tahfidz curriculum, and to serve as a\r\npractical reference for madrasah administrators in optimising flagship\r\nprogrammes.\r\nThis study utilised a qualitative approach with a case study design. The\r\nresearch subjects included the head of the madrasah, tahfidz teachers, students,\r\nand parents. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation,\r\nand documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which\r\nincludes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity\r\nwas tested through source triangulation and technique triangulation to ensure data\r\nvalidity and credibility.\r\nThe results showed that the madrasah principal's strategic management was\r\nimplemented in three stages. In the formulation stage, the madrasah principal set a\r\nminimum memorisation target of two juz through collaborative public testing of the\r\ncurriculum. The implementation stage involved organising competent hafiz\r\nteachers, making muroja'ah a habit in the first hour, and implementing a no empty\r\nhour policy. The evaluation stage is carried out through periodic monitoring and\r\nsemester reports, although systematic follow-up still needs to be improved.\r\nSupporting factors include the commitment of the madrasah principal, the\r\ncompetence of teachers with sanad, and parental support.
