%T REPRESENTASI DAKWAH EMPATIK DALAM KONTEN REELS INSTAGRAM @TERASDAKWAH
%X The increasing psychological burden among the younger generation, who
often feel alienated by normative da'wah delivery, demands a new approach that
is more relevant to their mental health conditions. This study aims to delineate
how the meaning of empathic da'wah is represented through verbal and visual
elements in the Instagram Reels content of @terasdakwah. Using a qualitative
content analysis method through Roland Barthes’ semiotic model, this research
dissects the sign systems at the levels of denotation, connotation, and myth within
the produced reels. The results indicate that the construction created by
@terasdakwah consistently builds a representation of empathic da'wah through
three main indicators: emotional validation (al-tafahum), fostering hope (albasyir),
and providing solution-oriented support (al-hikmah). The analysis reveals
a deconstruction of the rigid image of da'wah into a more inclusive one by utilizing
modern visual symbols and language familiar to the daily lives of young people.
Through this approach, mental health issues are represented not as a spiritual
punishment, but as a human process that can be approached through the tranquility
of Qur'anic values. Thus, @terasdakwah has successfully created a digital safe
space that positions religion as an emotional companion and a solution to the
identity crisis of today's youth.
