Therefore, it is important for them to possess resilience as a resource to survive and adapt in their new environment. Resilience is supported by many factors, including internal factors such as personality and external factors such as social support, which can help enhance resilience. This study aims to examine the relationship between personality (using the Big Five model) and social support with resilience among students living away from home in the DIY region. The measurement tools used in this study include the CD-RISC, BFI-2, and Isel-16. Data collection was conducted online using Google Forms, successfully gathering 207 respondents. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression and Pearson correlation. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis indicated a relationship between resilience and the Big Five personality traits, as well as between resilience and social support. The regression analysis results also showed that the Big Five personality traits and social support have a significant relationship with resilience among students living away from home in the DIY region. However, two of the Big Five personality dimensions and social support did not show a unique contribution to resilience. These findings suggest that socio-cultural characteristics and interactions contribute more to resilience among students living away from home. %Z Muhammad Johan Nasrul Huda, S.Psi.,M.Si., PhD.
