The integration of Islamic values includes gratitude, contentment, and trust that strengthen the spiritual dimension in the process of cognitive restructuring and behavioral change. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a true experimental pretest–posttest control group design. The research subjects were 20 students with high levels of FOMO who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The research instrument used the Online Fear of Missing Out Scale (ON-FOMO). Data analysis was carried out using Paired Sample t-Test and Independent Sample t-Test. The results showed that Islamic value-based CBT is effective in reducing FOMO in students. This is indicated by the results of the Paired Sample t-Test which obtained a significance value of 0.001 &lt;0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group. In addition, the results of the Independent Sample t-Test showed a significance value of 0.001 &lt; 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the posttest scores of the experimental and control groups. The effect size calculation results using Cohen's d of 2.48 are included in the very large category, indicating that the intervention has a strong influence in reducing FOMO in students. The conclusion of this study shows that Islamic value-based CBT is effective as an intervention in overcoming FOMO in students.
