Financial distress is measured using the -Z-Score, while the independent variables include NPF as a proxy for Risk Profile, the size of the board of commissioners, board of director, and SSB as a proxies for GCG, ROA as a proxy for Earnings, and CAR as a proxy for Capital. The results show that board of director has a negative significant effect and CAR has a positive significant effect on financial distress, while NPF, the board of commissioners, SSB, and ROA are not significant. These findings emphasize the importance of governance effectiveness and capital policy in maintaining financial stability and resilience of Islamic Rural Banks.
