abstract: Teaching materials used in biology learning often still focus on delivering material so that they do not fully encourage students to think critically. Therefore, it is necessary to develop teaching materials that are able to facilitate active and challenging learning activities, One of which is through a biology module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). This study aims to determine the development of a PBL-based biology module as a teaching material, the feasibility of the PBL-based biology module teaching material on the blood circulation system material and students' responses to the PBL-based biology module teaching material. The research conducted is a type of R&D research using the ADDIE model. The results of this study produced a teaching material product in the form of a PBL-based biology module on the blood circulation system material. The results of the product feasibility test, namely the assessment of material experts got a percentage of 96.20%, the assessment of media experts was 91.25%, the assessment of peer reviewers was 91.30%, the assessment of biology teachers was 86.07%. The results of student responses to the developed product got a percentage of 94.93%. Thus, the quality of the developed product is included in the category of very suitable for use in the learning process on the blood circulation system material to strengthen the critical thinking of high school students.
