This study aims to analyze how communication management was implemented by Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) in responding to the natural disaster crisis in Cianjur. The study applies communication management theory consisting of planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling, as well as disaster communication concepts emphasizing accurate information, effective and participatory communication, transparency, and mutual understanding of needs. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and validated using source triangulation. The findings indicate that MDMC implemented systematic communication management through the establishment of coordination posts, structured volunteer task distribution, utilization of internal and external communication channels, and tiered reporting mechanisms between central and regional levels.
