      "abstract": "This study aims to identify waste, analyze the causes of waste and product defects, and propose improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of plastic production processes at CV Sinar Tiga Bermuda. The method used is Lean Six Sigma with the Define, Measure, Analyze, and Improve stages. In the define stage, process mapping was conducted using Current State Mapping, along with waste identification and Critical to Quality determination. The measure stage included the calculation of Process Cycle Efficiency, Waste Assessment Model analysis, as well as DPMO and sigma level calculations. In the analyze stage, Pareto diagrams, fishbone diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis were applied to identify root causes. The improve stage proposed improvements using the 5W+1H approach and visualized them through Future State Mapping, followed by recalculating PCE. The results show that the dominant wastes are defects, overproduction, and waiting, caused by six main factors with the highest RPN values, unexpected machine breakdowns, poor machine cleanliness due to the absence of standard operating procedures, unstable machine parameters and raw material composition, improper sealing parameters, overproduction, and machine disruptions affecting process flow. The DPMO value of 6,958.65 with a sigma level of 3.99 indicates moderate process performance requiring improvement. The PCE increased from 35.918% to 41.05%, indicating improved efficiency. Proposed improvements include implementing preventive maintenance, establishing documented SOPs and cleaning routines, setting machine parameter standards, enhancing operator skills and supervision, improving production planning, and optimizing production flow. Thus, Lean Six Sigma effectively reduces waste and improves efficiency and quality.",
