This issue has the potential to cause various negative impacts, including on reproductive health, psychological well-being, and socioeconomic conditions. In an effort to reduce the rate of early marriage, the government, through the Ministry of Population and Family Development (Kemendukbangga) or the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), initiated the Planned Generation (GenRe) Program. This program is designed to equip adolescents with the knowledge and readiness to plan their family life thoughtfully. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the GenRe Program in efforts to prevent early marriage in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) during the 2019?2023 period, as well as to analyze it through the perspective of Islamic legal sociology. This study is classified as field research of a descriptive-analytical nature and employs an Islamic legal sociology approach. Primary data was collected through semi-structured interviews with representatives from the National Family Planning Coordination Board (BKKBN), GenRe Ambassadors, and the administrators of PIK-R and PIK-M in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Secondary data was sourced from official documents, legislation, and relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively using a deductive method, which involves linking field findings to the theory of Islamic legal sociology proposed by Muhammad Atho? Mudzhar. This theory was used to examine the relationship between Islamic legal values and social reality through five main aspects: the influence of religion on social change, the influence of social change on Islamic law, the level of religious practice, patterns of social interaction, and the role of community organizations. Research findings indicate that the implementation of the GenRe Program in the Special Region of Yogyakarta is carried out through various activities focused on the guidance and empowerment of adolescents, including Family Life Preparation for Adolescents (PKBR), Raising the Minimum Marriage Age (PUP), activities at the Youth/Student Information and Counseling Centers (PIK-R/M), life skills training, and reproductive health education. This program is implemented through outreach, peer counseling, skills training, and educational activities involving adolescents in school, university, and community settings. From the perspective of Islamic legal sociology by Muhammad Atho? Mudzhar, the implementation of the GenRe Program demonstrates a reciprocal relationship between Islamic legal values and the social dynamics of society. This program reflects the process of internalizing the values of readiness and maturity in marriage in accordance with the principles of Islamic law, and demonstrates the interaction between religious teachings, social change, and the role of community organizations in supporting efforts to prevent early marriage.} }
